Software License Agreement

This Agreement governs the use of Tiny Screen Labs proprietary software.


License Grant

Tiny Screen Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software solely for the purposes permitted under your service agreement.

This license does not transfer ownership of the software.


Ownership

Tiny Screen Labs retains all right, title, and interest in:

  • TSL Mobile App Manager
  • TSL Pro Plan
  • all platform components
  • source code
  • system architecture
  • documentation

Platform vs Project Software

Software used in projects may include three categories:

Platform Software

Core software components used across multiple projects remain the property of Tiny Screen Labs.

These components may not be redistributed or resold.


Project-Specific Server Software

Custom backend software created specifically for a client project may be licensed to the client.

Clients may modify or extend such project-specific code.


Mobile Applications

Mobile applications published to Apple App Store or Google Play include:

  • Binary builds of the mobile application
  • App identifiers and listings

Clients own their application listings and identifiers.

However:

  • mobile source code is not transferred
  • mobile frameworks remain Tiny Screen Labs intellectual property

Restrictions

Except as permitted by law, you may not:

  • reverse engineer
  • decompile
  • disassemble
  • create derivative products from the platform

You may not use the software to build competing platforms.


Confidentiality

The software contains proprietary and confidential information belonging to Tiny Screen Labs.

You agree not to disclose such information to third parties.


Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided “as is.”

Tiny Screen Labs disclaims all warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.


Limitation of Liability

Tiny Screen Labs shall not be liable for:

  • lost profits
  • lost data
  • business interruption
  • consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the previous 12 months.


Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
